Australian furniture brand King Living has introduced new "virtual consultation technology" in their Kingston location.

Intended for customers and interior designs alike, the company hopes that the 45-minute one-to-one consultations will combine the personal connection found in their brick-and-mortar stores with the convenience of online shopping.

These appointments are a key part of the brand's offering, as staff can now help more clients work King Living's modular furniture into their specific lifestyles.

The move is part of what the company describes as its "innovative approach," previously seen in their tech-savvy catalogue of smart charging stations, motion-controlled lighting, sound system integration and "world-class recliner technology".

The Bentalls-based showroom opened in 2022 after the company saw success with their initial UK location along London's Tottenham Court Road.

David King, founder of King Living, stated that the company wanted the Kingston location "to reflect the Australian way of living and evoke the nostalgia of a home," through a combination of "curated collections and aspirational lifestyle settings".

While announcing the new virtual consultation technology, Mr King discussed his brand's success outside of his native Australia as being down to its "timeless appeal that translates on a global scale".
