This Easter, the Bentall Centre in Kingston is inviting families and visitors of all ages to join in a series of "exciting and creative" events, inspired by the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland.

Tina Powley-Mapp, Centre Director, said: "The Bentall Centre prides itself in creating a warm and inviting space for families and friends to come together, whether you are hunting for the perfect Easter gift of simply soaking in the springtime cheer, our centre is the ideal destination to make cherished memories."

The centrepiece of the event is a "larger-than-life installation that brings the fantastical charm of Alice in Wonderland to life".

Visitors will be captivated by the vibrant and imaginative display, which will set the perfect backdrop for the numerous activities happening throughout the event.

Easter Activities and Workshops include:

Colouring Workshop – Monday, 7 April – 21 April

Bring imaginations to life with free colouring sheets and pencils, available at the Bentall Centre for two weeks. These workshops are perfect for little ones (and adults too) to unleash their inner artist.

Thursday, 10 April: Mad Hatter Bookmark Making

This is a fun and crafty session where shoppers can create their own unique Mad Hatter-inspired bookmarks – a perfect keepsake for Easter reading.

Thursday, 10 and 17 April: Wreath Making (Adults Only)

Guests will be able to make their own beautiful wreath to display at home, using an array of spring-inspired materials.

Saturday, 12 April: Easter Biscuit Decorating Workshop & Queen of Hearts & Giant Clock

Suitable for all ages, this hands-on activity lets guests decorate delicious Easter treats to take home.

The Queen of Hearts and Giant Clock will be roaming the centre, stopping for photos and entertaining visitors.

Thursday, 17 April: Alice in Wonderland Mask-Making Workshop

For a small donation to Momentum Charity, children can create their very own fantastical mask inspired by the iconic characters of Alice in Wonderland.

All proceeds from this workshop will go towards supporting the charity's efforts.

Saturday, 19th April: Cup & Saucer Plant Pot Workshop with Alice and the Mad Hatter

Be on the lookout for some unexpected encounters!

Alice and the Mad Hatter will be roaming the centre, ready to share a bit of Wonderland's charm with all who cross their path.

Children will also have the opportunity to decorate their own cup and saucer plant pots and plant their very own plant to take home.

All workshops are free to participate in, with the exception of the Alice in Wonderland Mask-Making Workshop, which is run by Momentum Charity.

For this workshop, participants are kindly asked to make a small donation to help raise money for the charity.
