SCENES for a Batman prequel TV series will be filming in Richmond Park today (20 January), limiting the number of parking spaces available.

The series, called 'Pennyworth,' is now in its third season and stars Jack Bannon in the title role.

Three of the car parks in Richmond park - Roehampton Gate, Robin Hood and a section of Spanker's Hill - will be used by film crew and equipment for today's shoot.

The Royal Parks have warned of "limited parking" due to the presence of the film units, including at Kingston Gate.

A large area of the park by Pen Ponds will be cordoned off for the filming, according to a notice shared on Twitter by Kevin Wilson PR.

The main filming will take place around the Royal Ballet School (White Lodge).

Equipment and vehicles will move out of the park tomorrow.

The Royal Parks tweeted today: "There is limited parking in #RichmondPark today due to film units based at #RoehamptonGate, #PenPonds & #KingstonGate.

"Apologies for any inconvenience, they'll be done by the end of the day."
