A ten-year-old girl living in Kingston has become a published author with her debut novel The Game of No Return.

Ironically, writing was never her strong suit. In fact, before writing her book, she didn't even consider herself a writer.

But when inspiration struck, she embraced the challenge wholeheartedly, determined to craft a story that fused her imagination with a spark of mystery and adventure.

Against all odds, while juggling schoolwork and her love for music, Jenica completed the entire novel herself.

The Game of No Return tells a suspenseful story filled with puzzles, trust, and twists that keep young readers hooked from beginning to end.

The book, which was published on 19 March, is targeted at children aged eight – twelve and is available to buy on Amazon here.
