Appeal for help to locate man missing from Surbiton

Police are appealing for help to locate a man missing from his home in Surbiton.

Scott Thompson, 62, was last seen driving away from his address in Surbiton on Monday, 15 April at 0:44am. Scott's car is a dark grey Ford KA with the number plate MT06 BYF.

As part of their enquiries, the Marine Support Unit are attending Thames Ditton Reach slipway, Kingston this afternoon.

Officers have no direct information that Scott has entered the Thames but are following up CCTV enquiries.

Scott's family are being supported by specially trained officers.

Detective Superintendent Ian Cameron said: "We are very concerned for Scott's welfare and its extremely important that we find him.

"If you have any information at all about Scott's whereabouts, or see anyone matching Scott's appearance, please call 999 quoting reference 'Op Steele."
