There is a brand new place in Kingston where little ones can learn, play, and flourish – and it already feels like home.

Monkey Puzzle Kingston has officially opened just minutes from the town centre, offering children a warm, nurturing environment filled with creativity, exploration and care.

At the heart of the new setting is Vjollca Niklekaj, who is already well known to many local families thanks to her first nursery in Surbiton, which opened in 2019.

Since then, she's built a strong reputation for high-quality early years education delivered with a personal touch – something she's now bringing to even more children across southwest London.

"Opening a second setting was a natural next step for us," said Niklekaj.

"We've seen the difference we've made in Surbiton – not just through the lovely feedback from parents, but in the confidence and readiness of the children as they move on to preschool and school. We wanted to offer that same level of support to even more families."

The Kingston nursery welcomed local families to its first open day on Friday, 25 July.

Designed with both care and creativity in mind, the space features a dedicated music room, sensory room, dressing-up room and plenty of outdoor space for little ones to explore, move and discover.

Niklekaj's journey into early years education is a story of passion and purpose. Originally from Albania, she moved to the UK in 2000 and graduated from Kingston University in 2007 with a degree in Applied and Environmental Geology.

Encouraged by her lecturers, she trained to become a secondary school maths teacher – but it was the early years that truly captured her heart.

She explained: "I truly believe that if children get the right start in life – where they can learn, be creative, have fun and feel supported – they'll carry that confidence with them forever.

"That's what we've created at our Surbiton nursery, and that's exactly what families can expect at Monkey Puzzle Kingston too. A place where children can thrive."

The new setting has been carefully designed to offer a home-from-home feel alongside a modern, well-equipped learning environment. The spacious layout allows for child-led exploration and a variety of creative activities, with a strong focus on outdoor play and nurturing each child's individual strengths.

Niklekaj added: "The feedback we've already had has been incredibly encouraging. Families who know us from Surbiton have visited and been really impressed with what we've created here. We're so proud of the team and what we've achieved."
