THREE new acts have been added to the star-studded line up for Hampton Court Palace's 2022 music festival.

The Human League, Kacey Musgraves and McFly are all set to perform in the series of outdoor summer concerts this summer.

Other acts already announced include Crowded House, Elbow, George Benson and Jack Savoretti.

The star-studded line-up will play gigs over three weeks at the scenic venue by the Thames.

They will each be performing to a seated audience in the Palace's Base Court against the atmospheric background of the near 500-year-old Palace.

80s legends The Human League are perhaps best known for their chart-topping karaoke staple Don't You Want Me Baby.

The synth-pop trio have released nine studio albums over their expansive career and intend to carry on performing live "as long as they are filling concerts and people want to see them."

US Country star Kacey Musgraves is a six-time Grammy winner - including best album for 2018's Golden Hour - and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter.

Her new album star-crossed is described as "a bold, empowering, and extremely personal series of songs."

Pop-punk group McFly influenced a generation of boybands and have bagged seven UK no.1 singles over their career.

The group wrote and recorded the album Young Dumb Thrills over the 2020 lockdown with top tracks 'Happiness' and 'Tonight Is The Night.'
