A seven-year-old boy from Tolworth has launched his own candle business after spotting vintage toys on eBay and deciding he could make something even better.

Barron, who attends school in the Surbiton area, designs every product himself from scratch. He sculpts monster faces from clay, creates silicon moulds, and helps pour the wax to create his collectible monster candles.

The business, Moonsters & Co, sells hand-sculpted monster candles, each one unique, each one scented, and each one named and designed entirely by Barron.

The idea came when Barron was browsing eBay with his dad and discovered Madballs, the iconic gross-out rubber ball toys from the 1980s. He turned to his dad and said: "We can make those. But make them candles."

Six months later, Moonsters & Co was born.

Series One features six collectible characters, including Gunk, Fangz, Blaze, Sogg, Boulda and Vexxa, each with their own personality, scent, and collector card. Barron names every monster himself.

His dad Richard handles the business operations while Barron leads all creative decisions.

Moonsters & Co is now live here and on Instagram and TikTok at @moonsters.co.uk.

Barron is believed to be one of the youngest product entrepreneurs in the UK. He has no plans to stop.
