Kingston Council announced the news this morning and encouraged residents to visit the centre, saying "Let's do it for Kingston!"

Kingston University has played a key role in the drive to vaccinate Kingston residents and was the first Covid-19 vaccine site in Kingston to open, in January this year.

A new walk-in centre has also opened in Kingston offering people aged 40 and above their second dose of the AstraZeneca jab.

The Hawks Road vaccination clinic also offers first doses of the vaccine for over-40s and will close on Sunday 20 June.

Anyone who visits the Hawks Road centre is reminded to bring proof of ID, plus their first vaccine card if they are getting their second jab.
