The Met Police told Nub News:

"Police were called at 18:59hrs on Monday, 8 February, to reports of an unresponsive male found in Green Lane Recreation Ground.

"Officers attended, and despite the best efforts of the members of the public who found him and the London Ambulance Service, a 15-year-old boy was pronounced dead a short time later.

"His next of kin have been informed.

"The death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious, and a post mortem is currently being scheduled.

"The Met's South West Local Investigations team are leading the investigation into the circumstances of the incident and enquiries are ongoing."

The recreation ground is located near Berrylands Train Station
