Two men have been charged with the murder of Kai Davis in a fatal stabbing in Kingston.

Joseph Barker and Ben Myles, both 22, will appear in Westminster Magistrates Court today, 3 September.

Barker, from Uxbridge, and Myles, from Southall, were arrested earlier this week.

Police announced yesterday that the pair had been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Kai Davis died in the fatal stabbing on Clarence Street in Kingston town centre last month.

The 22-year-old from Hounslow was found with stab wounds in the early hours of August 21.

He was treated at the scene and sadly later pronounced dead in hospital.

Two other men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested that week on suspicion of murder.

The 18-year-old was released with no further action.

The 19-year-old has been bailed to a date in mid-September.
