A body was pulled from the Thames in Kingston yesterday.

A large part of Canbury Gardens had to close as police carried out the operation.

Police were called to the area just after 9:30am and pulled a man from the river.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at around 12pm.

His death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.

This is the second time in the past couple of weeks that a body has been found in the Thames.
