Storage Hub Lead

Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Storage hub lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clients warehouses in Hampshire. This role requires regular travel to and from their Kingston office to ensure seamless coordination between locations, which will be done by using company fleet vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all items are packed appropriately, logged onto the system, and stored correctly. All assets must be handled with care.

Essential Criteria (Skills & Experience): Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work independently Good communication skills and professional conduct. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites, minimum of 3 years driving, no more than 3 points Experience of driving a Luton van and Long wheel base Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when required Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, packing, storing, and dispatching goods. Ensure all items are packed securely and stored in compliance with company procedures. Liaise with the Head of Logistics and Facilities to align logistics, schedules, and inventory needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate transportation and logistics for goods moving between Hampshire and Kingston areas.

Core Knowledge Base: Proven experience in warehouse supervision or logistics. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse software. Forklift certification (Articulated and/or Counterbalance -preferred but not essential). Basic understanding of health and safety procedures and safe working practices

Main Duties: Manage and prioritise a schedule of tasks Oversee the staff in the storage team and work together to keep on top of the inventory and meet deadlines.

Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times Promote a clean and safe environment across the storage units Conduct Annual reconciliation inspections to maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse cleanliness. Keep good business relations with outsourced storage companies.

26.500P.A. + Overtime 40 hour week
