Scope of the Role:

Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Storage Driver and operative to help with the day-to-day operations of our clients warehouses in Hampshire. This role requires regular travel to and from their Office in the Kingston area to ensure seamless coordination between locations, which will be done by using company fleet vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all items are packed appropriately, loaded onto the van securely, logged onto the system, and stored correctly. All assets must be handled with care.

The nature of our clients industry is that working ad hoc additional hours, or out of normal working hours, can be expected as a normal function of this role. The leadership team of our client remains committed to limiting the extent and potential impact of this for all individuals at within the business.

Essential Criteria (Skills & Experience):

• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
• Good communication skills and professional conduct.
• Full UK driving licence , minimum of 3 years driving, no more than 3 points - experience in Driving a Luton van and a Long wheel base.
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when required
• Ensure all items are packed securely and stored in compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics for goods moving between 2 sites.

Core Knowledge Base:

• Proven experience in warehousing and driving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse software.(basic computer skills)
• Forklift certification (Articulated and/or Counterbalance).

• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures and safe working practices
