Fresh Produce Administrator (Quality Assurance) Summary £27,500 up to £37,400 per annum- This isn't making a change today. This is making an impact tomorrow. Our busy and successful Quality Assurance Department is pivotal to ensure that the quality, safety and legality for all Lidl food and near food products are tested and guaranteed. We are now looking for a Fresh Produce Testing Administrator to support the Department. As Produce Testing Administrator, you will be working within the fruit and veg testing team, managing internal and external stakeholders, and investigating product reports. This is a quality-driven multi-tasking role making you a vital member of the Quality Assurance Team! We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. What you'll do • Planning and coordinating testing of fresh produce samples with our 3rd party service providers• Processing test reports and results onto internal systems• Reviewing test reports to ensure compliance with the Lidl specifications and legal parameters• Liaising with suppliers, laboratories and warehouse personnel to maintain compliance with the sampling programme and investigate non-conformances• Liaising with buyers regarding supplier performance and testing results• General office duties including answering phones and dealing with queries• Risk assessing items based on safety criteria and product knowledge• Invoice processing• Ad hoc QA tasks What you'll need
- Interested in food safety and quality
- Proactive attitude with problem solving skills
- Highly focused and accurate with an uncompromising eye for detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Comprehensive Excel skills and experience of working with other Microsoft Office programmes
- Food Industry experience is preferable (Industry placements will be considered)
- A team player who is also capable and confident to work independently
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
