To assist with procurements to include determining requirements, developing tender documents, procurement group management, delivery to agreed timeframes, appraisals using the most appropriate assessment tools, contract award in compliance with Financial Regulations and Public Procurement legislation and contract management. This will include end-to-end procurement support in the letting of contracts across a wide variety of categories (including Estates & Facilities, ICT and other professional services) ensuring at all times that the resulting contracts and agreements are in compliance with government legislation and internal regulations. To work closely with the Head of Procurement and Procurement Category Managers to support or lead on a variety of tenders and procurements including supplier communications, framework minicompetitions, end-to-end tendering, supplier interviews and managing the tender evaluation process ensuring that all procurement records are kept up to date for audit, management information and reporting purposes.
