Audio Visual Engineer

My public sector client are seeking a talented Audio Visual Engineer to join there team. As an Audio Visual Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, installation, and maintenance of AV systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Including service and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer audiovisual systems tailored to the specific needs.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal equipment placement and configuration.
  • Develop comprehensive system schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment lists.
  • Install and configure AV equipment, including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and control systems.
  • Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality and reliability.
  • Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users.
  • Provide support on VC and live events
  • Stay current with emerging audiovisual technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • 2 + Years proven experience in AV
  • Proficiency with audiovisual equipment, including but not limited to, video processors, switchers, DSPs, and codecs.
  • Strong understanding of audiovisual standards and protocols, such as HDMI, HDBaseT, and Dante.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
