Milton Keynes is looking for an experienced Deputy Team Manager to join them in their The Reablement and Hospital Discharge Team.

It will be 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.

In this role you will be expected and not limited to:

• You will support the team manager in overseeing a busy, fast-paced team where every day is different.
• Implement creative solutions to help individuals maintain their independence.
• Collaborate with health professionals and continuing health care services.
• Lead the development of a supportive team environment.
• Provide reflective supervision and support to social workers and social work assistants.
• Manage and prioritize allocations based on risk, need, and urgency.
• Support workers in producing strengths-based assessments that accurately reflect the individual and their situation.
• Collaborate with health colleagues and other professionals to ensure timely discharge of individuals.
• Oversee the flow through all discharge services.
• Manage and support a team, addressing HR issues as necessary.
• Support colleagues within a multidisciplinary service.
• Solve problems and manage complex cases and risk.
