Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School Teddington Full Time Start: ASAP - July 2026 We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly and inclusive Secondary School in Teddington. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young people in their learning and development within the school's Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), working closely with experienced staff and specialist teams. Role Details:

• Position: Learning Support Assistant
• Location: Teddington
• Contract: Full time, term time only
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: July 2026
• Department: SRP (Specialist Resource Provision)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other learning difficulties.
• Support students both within the SRP and in mainstream lessons to help them access the curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, therapists, and other support staff to implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
• Assist with classroom preparation, differentiation of resources, and monitoring student progress.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
• Be patient, empathetic, and resilient.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ideally have previous experience supporting students in an educational or SEN setting (though training will be provided).
• Be able to commit to a full-time role for the duration of the academic year.
