Position: Intermediate Structural Engineer

Package: We offer a competitive basic salary, pension, and bonus payments. The successful candidate will receive training, mentorship, and support to grow into an experienced engineer, with opportunities to work towards chartered status through ICE or I.Struct.E.

Location: This role offers a blend of home working and office-based work from our Thames Ditton location.

Job Description: The Intermediate Structural Engineer will report directly to the senior engineer and will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing structural designs and supporting calculations for both new build and renovation projects.
  2. Conducting site visits and attending design team meetings for ongoing projects.
  3. Performing structural inspections, reporting on defects, and recommending remedial works.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree (BSc or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, ideally within the residential sector.
  • Proven experience in producing structural designs and supporting calculations.
  • A desire to pursue chartered member status with ICE or I.Struct.E.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and client satisfaction skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
