Accounts Assistant

Up to 18 per hour, depending on experience

We are working with a great business based in the Kingston area who are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them on an ongoing temp basis.

In this role you will be a key member of the team supporting in a varied role across the transactional duties (predominately Accounts payable) and Payroll.

Day to day may include:

• Management of the Purchase Ledger including coding, authorisation, reconciliations and payments
• Month end Payroll processing - monthly PAYE including calculations of SSP, SMP etc.
• Expense processing
• Keeping records and system up to date
• Dealing with supplier queries
• We are ideally looking for a strong Accounts Assistant with some experience in Payroll who is confident with learning this area of the role. We are open on experience as the main part of this role will be the transactional Finance side.
