UNTIL Thursday 18 December

Are you unemployed, looking to re-enter the workplace or seeking a career change? Local charity Room for Work provides solid career support delivered in a friendly, local environment in Kingston.
Starting September 25th, the charity will deliver a free career development course for Kingston residents. The programme is for skilled workers aged 45+, with previous work experience that could range from administrative to managerial and professional roles.
If you've been away from the workplace for some time, or you are a new resident in the UK with the right to work, we'll help you build your motivation and confidence. Course participants learn current employability skills with an emphasis on networking, developing social media skills, improving CVs, using AI, and practising competency-based interviews.
Tailored one-to-one mentoring is provided by the Course Leader. Follow-up coaching support is also available at no cost.
To attend, participants will need: a laptop or tablet; access to the web; a good working knowledge of English and basic computer skills.
The 12-week course is presented in central Kingston at the Guildhall, High Street, Kingston KT1 1EU. Classes are held on Thursdays from 10am-12.30pm, starting September 25th. Register now to save your place at roomforwork.org
