Join us for a Climate Change Piano Concert & Talk by Terezie Wickenden
All Saints Church is raising funds in support of the World Land Trust, a charity patroned by Sir David Attenborough. The World Land Trust purchases and protects land in some of the world's most precious habitats, safeguarding them forever. Join us for an evening event featuring piano music and a talk on climate change, its impacts, and resilience, and help make a real difference. 100% profit will go to the World Land Trust.
Terezie began playing the piano at the age of five and, at fifteen, won first prize in the National piano competition in Pardubice, Czech Republic. She holds a Master's degree in Classical Piano Performance from Trinity College of Music in London. In 2019, she decided to pursue a career in climate change.
All Saints Church is taking steps to tackle climate change including how we manage our churchyard, our solar panels, and improving our insulation and heating system to work more efficiently using funds from the "Give to Go Green" scheme from the Church of England.
The Church is working with Terezie Wickenden, a climate change professional and concert pianist, to raise funds for this ground-breaking environmental charity. At the event, Terezie will explain why World Land Trust is a charity worth supporting and will use music to illustrate her personal journey with climate change - from despair to action.
