Cancer Bats

To celebrate the release of the new album, Cancer Bats visits Kingston to play at The Fighting Cocks.

For over 20 years, Canadian hardcore heavyweights Cancer Bats have built a reputation for relentless intensity, explosive live shows, and a fiercely loyal global following. With seven acclaimed studio albums (six JUNO-nominated), they've toured extensively across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond, becoming a defining force in modern heavy music. Their career has taken them from underground clubs to major international festivals, with strong support across the UK and appearances at major events including Download, Leeds, Reading, Slam Dunk, and 2000 Trees.

Now celebrating more than two decades together, Cancer Bats return stronger than ever - delivering one of their most ambitious and anticipated releases to date: their eighth studio album, Give Me Dirt. Recorded with renowned producer Kurt Ballou, the album captures the band's raw power while pushing their sound into new territory. Inspired by nature, travel, and personal reflection, the record explores themes of loss, resilience, and reconnection with the natural world.
