Fun, family-friendly Kingston bike ride (FREE!)

BOOST YOUR CYCLING CONFIDENCE THIS AUTUMN ON KINGSTON'S NEXT FUN 'PARK & RIDE' EVENT

On Sunday 6 October 2024 dust off your bike and join Kingston's final fun-packed family-friendly ride of the year! Designed with all ages and cycling abilities in mind, this easy-paced and short ride will take you from Surbiton via the river to North Kingston, making the most of quiet roads and traffic-free routes.

Organised by Kingston Cycling Campaign (KCC), with the support of Full Cycle Community Bike Project, invite your friends, neighbours and family, and maybe even discover a few new routes on this easy ride through the borough! Starting from Claremont Gardens, a stones through from Surbiton station, and gathering at 10.45am for the ride briefing before the 11am set off. Meeting point will be just inside the gardens at the junction of The Crescent and Grove Road – exact point marked on the map here.

All need participants to be registered on tiny.cc/FunRideOct24 to take part, so invite your friends, get your family excited and reserve your frees spot now (NB: please book one space for every rider so we know how many people to expect). Follow KCC on Facebook and Twitter for more updates in the run-up to the ride or to keep up to date on other Kingston activity. And see the FAQ section below for more information about the ride, and what you might need to know before the event.

"What a brilliant event! Gave me the nudge I needed to get back on the bike after many years."

"Being in a group makes such a difference and gives us the confidence to venture a bit further as a family."
