This course is designed for students with an existing art practice, seeking to expand their repertoire of research methodologies through drawing and mark making. Are you a fine artist looking for new ways to deepen your enquiry into existing thematic interests and intentions? Perhaps you are a professional designer or illustrator who wants to develop a fine art practice?
The course will consist of tutor-led, supportive, dynamic workshops that will facilitate a nuanced and rigorous reflection on your drawing and image making. Over the eight weeks of the course, you will explore abstraction, automatic drawing, magnification, somatic practice, sound scoring, fragmentation, absurdity and collage.
So, join us to take your work to the next level, and help others to do the same.
