Kingstonian win their third straight home game against an in-form Billericay Town side as they continue with their Jekyll and Hyde form in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Lee Lewis put the K's ahead with his first goal for the club after 19 minutes before Bradley Stevenson equalised for the Blues shortly after.
Then Kieron Cadogan got Kingstonian ahead before the break as he got onto the end of a cross to the far post and the K's were able to see the game out at Imperial Fields.
Kingstonian jump up to 13th place in the division and look ahead to their away game against Haringey Borough on Tuesday looking for their first away win of the season.
Lewis gave Kingstonian the lead following a slow opening 19 minutes as his shot took a deflection to take it beyond Harry Seaden in the Billericay goal.
Anthony Jeffrey had a chance to level the scores three minutes later when he found space to aim a shot on goal but his effort went straight at Sam Jackson.
Billericay then got back on terms on 25 minutes as Dan Brown did well down the right and picked out Stevenson at the far post and he had the simplest of tasks to tap into the empty net.
Billericay were in the ascendancy but Kingstonian made them pay for not making the most of their chances as Cadogan was blessed with oceans of space on the left as he got on the end of a cross from the far side and he obliged by tucking his shot home.
Stevenson nearly grabbed his second in the 66th minute when he got his shot off, but Jackson was equal to it and tipped the effort over the bar.
Toby Stevenson then got on the end of a cross but was only able to divert his header wide of the mark.
The K's once again had Jackson to thank for maintaining their lead as substitute Imran Uche unleashed a powerful effort towards goal but the Kingstonian number one pushed it around the post.
