Kingston Council is teaming up with ShopAppy.com - the 'One Stop Online Local shop' - to provide borough shops and other businesses with an online profile and an easy-to-use e-commerce platform.
This will enable customers to browse stock and services and purchase from multiple businesses, and arrange click and collect, all with one transaction.

In the beginning of April I co-founded Sewing4Kingston, making scrub bags, ear protectors, scrubs, tabards and face coverings for the local hospitals, care homes and front line workers.
I'm a doctor, retired on ill health and in the extremely clinically vulnerable group and I felt helpless. I wanted to do what I could to help so what started off as a shout out for laundry bags ended up turning into a huge group of volunteers that sewed and distributed over 50,000 items within our community.
Whether Kingston is in London or Surrey has been a constant source of debate.
So we have gathered up the top three arguments for each side and we will let you, the people of Kingston, decide.
