Where to watch No Time To Die in Kingston: the cinemas showing Bond's latest in and near our town
THE highly anticipated James Bond film No Time To Die hits screens in Kingston upon Thames tomorrow, but where is the best place to watch it?
Nub News has scoured the internet's film listings and discovered three great venues to catch the long-awaited movie - which had its 2020 premiere date delayed 18 months due to the pandemic.
No Time To Die is Daniel Craig's last outing as 007 and features Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux and Lashana Lynch in the main roles. It is rated 12A and runs for 163 minutes.
Kingston Odeon
Kingston's Odeon cinema will be putting on 47 screenings of No Time To Die tomorrow, including 5 on their iMAX screen and 4 separate midnight showings.
Standard adult tickets are £13.00 making it an affordable way to see the film - especially as it won't require much travel for Kingston residents.
The venue has 15 screens and is based in the Rotunda building opposite Kingston station and near Cromwell Road bus station.
It's showing the latest Bond until October 17 so make sure you go and see it before then if you want the full blockbuster experience.
The Everyman Esher
Sadly, Kingston borough has no other public cinemas than the Odeon.
But if you don't mind driving or taking public transport to a venue outside Kingston upon Thames then we recommend the Everyman in Esher.
With smaller screens and plush seats this cinema is a favourite among locals for its cosy vibe.
It is admittedly pricier than the Odeon, as here a standard adult ticket costs £15.90.
It's also very popular and lots of Bond showings this weekend are sold out already, though there are some evening weekday ones left and the weekend after is freer.
[h2]The Curzon in Richmond[.h1]
Curzon cinemas are known for showing more arty and independent films than mainstream cinemas so it may come as a surprise to see Bond listed here.
There aren't as many screenings of No Time To Die here, and the number of screenings of the movie is around a 10th of those available at the Odeon.
Tickets here are also even more expensive than the Everyman, with adults having to fork out £17.50 for a standard ticket.
Yet the cinema's arty feel and slightly bigger screens than the Everyman in Esher plus its more standard style of cinema seating has made it a cult venue.
None of the Bond showings there are sold out but tickets are going fast and it's advisable not to delay booking to secure your spot.
