Every Thursday we round up all the eye-catching events occurring in your area over the weekend.

Friday 10 November 

Rockeoke, The Fighting Cocks, 7:30pm 

Come sing/shout/scream your heart out! Lyrics projected in the venue, your fave songs playing through the PA, a swanky karaoke system and it'll be just like you're the real deal. If you need some liquid courage before you take to the stage we have drinks deals, cocktails, shots and ice cold Jager for your nerves. 

Saturday 11 November 

Fairfield Litter Pick, Fairfield Park, 2-3pm 

Passionate about keeping spaces green and clean? Join local litter heroes of all ages as they strive to make Fairfield Recreation Ground plus the Children's Playground lovely and clean for everyone to enjoy. Organised by two local residents associations, Sunflower Streets and Tricorn, they'll have litter pickers to lend out for those without their own, plus sweet treats for everyone who takes part.

LAST CHANCE: A View from the Bridge, Rose Theatre  

Beatrice and Eddie Carbone have built an all-American life in Brooklyn where people are meant to look out for each other. When wife and husband take in their relations, two hard-working Sicilian immigrants, the family should pull together. Instead, everything starts to unravel. Eddie included. Book your tickets to Arthur Miller's visceral and compelling drama is a timeless masterpiece here

The Speakeasy party: The Good Stuff, The Grey Horse, 9pm-11pm 

Fronted by dynamic vocalist Vic Bynoe GoodStuff the are world-class musicians. These 6 long-time friends & music industry professionals decided to form GoodStuff to go back to their musical roots and play the Funk, Soul & Jazz grooves that they remember listening to (& dancing to!) in the 1970's. 

Thames Concerts: Antonio Oyarzabal, St Andrew's Church, Surbiton, 7:30pm 

La Muse Oubliée - a celebration of music by women composers, including Chaminade, Price, Boulanger, Tailleferre and others.

Remembrance Sunday Civic Procession, the Guildhall, 10:45am 

There will be a Civic Procession leaving from the Guildhall through the Market Place to the war memorial where a Service will take place. A number of contingents from local organisations will also be taking part in this Service. This short outside service, which will include the laying of wreaths, will last until approx 11:10am. 

Remembrance Sunday Service, All Saints Church, 11:25am 

There will be a full Church service with hymns, and the Last Post will be played to honour those who have sacrificed their lives in war. 

Sunday Night Quiz, The Albion, 7:30pm 

Get your thinking caps on and sharpen your competitive streak with a pub quiz! 1st prize is a £50 tab voucher with rollover jackpot questions. Food served until 10pm.
