Shooting Hedda Gabler, Rose Theatre, 7:30pm
It's the opening night for the Rose's latest co-production with The Norwegian Ibsen Company! Shooting Hedda Gabler unfolds on a movie set in Norway where filming is underway for a film adaptation of Hedda Gabler. Inspired by conversations born out of the #MeToo movement, Nina Segal has created an affectionate, sharp and chilling reframing of Henrik Ibsen's 130-year-old story, directed by Jeff James.

Pick 'n' mix! Acceptable in the 90s and noughties, Pryzm Kingston, 5pm
Rediscover the nineties with live performances from some of the decade's biggest hit makers. PRYZM Kingston, Clarence Street, is introducing Pick N Mix on Saturday 30 September where icons Baby D, N Trance, Sonique and JX (pic above) will be playing hits including Let Me Be Your Fantasy, It Feels So Good, Set You Free and Son Of A Gun between 6-10pm.\
Last day for the Global Threads Exhibition, Rose Theatre, 10am-6pm
Find out about the different communities living in Kingston and their colourful and inspiring textile heritage. The exhibition will explore the clothing traditions of Kingston's communities. Come and see real garments, photographs, and textile-inspired artworks made by local groups. Learn about block-printed borders, knots that become buttons, and the meanings behind the motifs and symbols within their textile traditions.

Swing Driven Thing, The Grey Horse, 1:30pm
Come and join Swing Driven Thing for a hot Sunday, gypsy jazz roast. plus Classic singalongs and ballads with our own vocalist Diva in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.
Swing Driven Thing are a gypsy jazz band playing the classic 1930s tunes of the famous Manouche guitarist, Django Reinhardt; and modern swing jazz from contemporary exponents like Biel Ballester. This is all laced together with a collection of singalongs original compositions and classic blues tunes from the 50s and 60s.
