The Forger
Rose Theatre presents The Forger, directed by Pippa Dykes, Holly Reddaway and Hannah Sands.
William is a gifted writer, and he knows it. But his father doesn't seem to care.
Truth, lies, belief, doubt, imagination and reality all collide in a tale which asks — how far would you go to get what you want? Would you pretend to be someone you're not? Would you become a forger?
The Forger is based on the true story of an ordinary boy who became one of the most extraordinary hoaxers in literary history.
An original play written for the Rose Youth Theatre, The Forger has provided the theatre's young cast with exciting opportunities to explore and develop skills in physical theatre, devising and ensemble.
