Missive exhibition at RuptureXIBIT

Missive is a collection of works by collage artist and painter Alex March.

Missive includes new paintings and her 365 project of collages; a collage a day, every day for 2022. These small postcard collages are shown here for the first time together, allowing the artist and the audience to track themes, repetitions and rhythms throughout the year.

March's work draws on classical art history, the Hollywood golden age and the studio nude. Themes of the muse, the goddess, the model and the object of the gaze interweave throughout this year-long endurance project.

Finissage closing drinks 6-8 pm Wednesday 12th April. The exhibition is open on 8/10-12 from 12 - 4 pm & by appointment [email protected]
