Repair Café Kingston is holding their monthly meetup at Kingston Library this weekend.

The library's community room will host a number of talented local people ready to give you a hand with any small items that might need a look at.

The group's stated goal is to "help residents save money while keeping repairable stuff out of the waste system".

While you can drop in, booking is advised, especially for the busy electricals and electronics tables.

Bookings and drop-ins run at Kingston Library from 10:30am to 1pm, with last-call at 12:30pm.

Whether you're a mod, rocker, hippy or skinhead, all are welcome at Teddington Constitutional Club.

Merseybeat, surf, Motown, cheese, rock, ska and just plain pop are all on the menu at the club this Saturday.

Come join a friendly (if slightly worn out) bunch of party people of varying ages, who are old enough to know better, for some reasonably priced drinks and old school vinyl.

The night kicks off at 7:30pm until midnight. Tickets are £5, cash on the door only, with prizes handed out for the best outfit of the night.

It's your last chance to see '2nd shift', a creative collaboration established by Leonora Lockhart and Isis Dove-Edwin and joined by Line le Fevre, Kerri McEvoy and Sharyn Wortman.

With a goal of amplifying the discourse around the impact of motherhood on artist's careers (the 'motherhood penalty'), '2nd Shift' aims to minimise some of the existing hurdles for artist mothers, showcasing work in a professional and critical environment.

A child-friendly open studio will take place on Friday 30 May from 3pm to 5pm, while the final open studio is on Saturday 1 June, between 12pm and 5pm.

The open studio is held at REPTUREXIBIT in Hampton Wick. RSVP is essential.
