Holly Lodge Quiz Night

Friday 25 October, The Avenue, St Luke's, Kew.

Come and join us for a highly entertaining evening of brain teasers and hilarity including a light snack, raffle and licenced bar.

You can either buy individual tickets and be placed on a table with others - or you can form your own table of six.

You will then be skilfully directed through the quiz by the ever-effervescent quizmaster, Adrian Mills, TV presenter and actor.

And you will not go hungry. Each table will be provided with a delicious spread of authentic Italian cheeses and charcuterie to consume with bread or crackers. A licensed bar will also be selling quality wines, beers etc etc.

To cap it all there will be a selection of prestigious raffle prizes to be won including events and other offerings kindly donated by local businesses.

All proceeds will go the Holly Lodge Centre, a unique charity in the heart of Richmond Park with patrons including Sir David Attenborough and HRH Princess Alexandra. The charity provides immersive educational programmes focused on nature and history for thousands of people every year - with a special focus on those with additional needs. It receives no Government funding thus relies on events such as these, as well as kind donations, to keep up and running.

DJ's "Disco Sue" and "Markus" play their favourite Disco & Soul, Motown & a splash of Northern Soul records to a friendly bunch of party people reliving their youth.

Strut your funky stuff on the dance floor, join in the soul train, or simply prop up the (cheap) bar and enjoy the great music. Disco glitter not essential but positively encouraged!

No attitudes. Good public transport links. Easy parking. Groups welcome (if you're celebrating something, let us know and we can make space for you!).

You won't get more fun for £5 (cash on door).

Halloween Ghostly Galleon Scream Up

Beware me hearties of those spooky pesky pirates sailing around our railway searching for lost gold as you climb aboard our ghostly Scream Up train. Watch out for the pirates as they try and board our train to carry out their search! Not to worry! Our ghostly Guards will see them off, or will they?  Only with your help.
