NIX Dance Academy, Hampton Wick's award-winning dance studio, is thrilled to announce it will be hosting a special event with Women's Health Physiotherapist, Abby Armstrong, exclusively dedicated to women's wellness.

Following the success of last year's "Adore Your Pelvic Floor" event, this essential talk will take place on Thursday 5 December at 7:30pm at the NIX Studio in Hampton Wick.

NIX Academy founder, Nicky Rowe, said: "We're passionate about supporting health through movement, not only for children, but for mums too.

"This collaboration with Abby Armstrong represents our commitment to providing comprehensive wellness solutions for busy mums in our community, as a precursor to the launch of our new Pilates classes for mums which will be launching at the studio in the new year."

The evening promises to be both informative and practical, covering crucial topics including:

  • Post-natal exercise strategies
  • Pelvic floor health essentials
  • Safe return to running programmes
  • Exercise through perimenopause and menopause
  • Understanding Diastasis Rectus Abdominus (tummy muscle separation)

The session will cover a variety of topics (Image supplied)

Abby Armstrong brings over two decades of physiotherapy expertise to NIX, including specialised women's health training since 2012 and Pilates instruction since 2008.

She said: "Every woman deserves access to expert guidance for their health journey.

"I'm delighted to partner with NIX Academy to bring these essential insights to our community." The evening launches NIX's new Physio-Led Pilates classes, starting January 2025.

  • Core strength development
  • Pelvic health optimisation
  • Personalised back care
  • Individual health considerations

Tickets for the event are £12, including refreshments and a glass of fizz, with the full amount redeemable against January's Pilates classes.

Space is limited to ensure personal attention.
