The Onyx School of Performing Arts brought the academic year to a dazzling close with an unforgettable end-of-year showcase, made even more special by the presence of the Mayor of Kingston upon Thames, Councillor Noel Hadjimichael, and Mayoress Ms Carol Berliner.

The distinguished guests were left astounded by the exceptional talent displayed by the young performers. The Mayor called it "one of the most charming and energetic events I've been to so far".

Cllr Hadjimichael also took a moment to personally commend the school's staff, for their leadership and vision. He praised their dedication to nurturing young talent and creating a space where students can thrive and grow in confidence through the arts.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was when the Mayor presented the prestigious Trinity College London Young Performer's certificates to the students — a significant achievement in the performing arts world.

The children were thrilled to receive this honour from such a respected local figure, making the occasion even more memorable.

The event marked not just a celebration of talent, but also a moment of recognition for the hard work and commitment of the students and staff at Onyx School of Performing Arts.
