KINGSTON: Man jailed for slavery, firearm, and Class A drug supply offences

A man has been jailed for slavery, firearm and class A drug supply offences.

Between September and October 2023, Hamza Zafar, 26, directed a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old to supply crack cocaine and heroin in Kingston.

He was arrested on 16 May 2024 and charged with a number of offences.

On Monday, 10 February, Zafar was sentenced to eight years imprisonment.

He has also been given a Slavery and Trafficking Prevention Order that will last 12 years.
