As part of National T Levels Week, Kingston College is celebrating the "power of employer partnerships".

The celebration comes after its T Level in Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing students visited Thames Water's Hogsmill Wastewater Treatment Works for a valuable hands-on industry experience.

According to Kingston College, Thames Water has been a strong supporter of T Levels, having already hosted more than 36 T Level students across its business, equating to over 1,620 days of industry placement experience.

Students have completed placements in a variety of departments, including Finance, Recruitment and Operations, contributing to teams while developing valuable workplace skills.

T Levels combine classroom learning with substantial industry placements, helping students apply their knowledge in real-world environments while building the skills employers need for the future.

Experiences such as this play a vital role in preparing students for successful careers and strengthening connections between education and industry.

A Kingston College spokesperson said: "A huge thank you to Thames Water for providing our T Level Engineering students with such an incredible industry experience.

"Strong employer partnerships like this are vital in helping students develop the skills, confidence and experience they need to succeed in the workplace.
