Kingston Camera Club hold awards ceremony for 2024 Annual Photography Exhibition
On Monday, 21 October, Kingston Camera Club (KCC) members gathered at St Andrews Church Hall in Ham to celebrate the success of their Annual Photographic Exhibition at All Saint's Church in Kingston, which ran from 1 – 13 October.
Starting at 7.30pm, KCC's members sat down to hear an introductory speech by the club's president, Philip.
Following this, the exhibition's organiser, Carl, gave an annual review expressing that the exhibition saw 1,097 guests over the 13 days of its running.
He also said that 621 (57%) of these guests voted for their favourite print and that 231 entries were made for the raffle for a print copy of member Paul Waller's 'Brutal Moonlight'.
Carl explained that tickets for the raffle were £2 each which meant that the club raised £462 from the raffle.
He said that the club also sold 50 prints, raising £250.
This means that the exhibition brought a total of £750 to the club.
