A new hot yoga studio is set to open in Kingston town centre next month.

Hotpod Yoga Kingston will open in the space above the M&S store on Eden Walk on 5 November.

Hotpod Yoga Kingston offers a never-seen-before style of yoga.

Its classes are held in its signature inflatable pods, "creating the perfect immersive atmosphere".

"Heated to a comfortable 37°C and filled with calming scents, soft lighting and curated playlists, the pod is the perfect space to stretch out, switch off and enjoy your yoga practice," said Hotpod Yoga Kingston's studio owners Jay and Nika.

They added: "Whether you're a seasoned pro or looking for yoga for beginners, our classes are designed to work for everyone. Expect a down-to-earth, welcoming atmosphere – no pressure, no pretence, just seriously feel-good yoga."

The couple met over 10 years ago and discovered Hotpod yoga together early in their relationship.

Nika Loved the challenge of the classes and the way they combined strength, mobility and calm in one practice.

She was drawn to the way the classes could feel both energising and restorative while Jay was drawn to the welcoming atmosphere and quickly found that the classes helped him recover from injuries picked up through more demanding outdoor sports, clear his head and move better.

He always left the pod "feeling better than when he went in," he said.

After moving back to Kingston eight years ago, the couple knew they wanted to bring Hotpod Yoga to the area they call home.

It took eight years, plenty of patience and a few twists along the way to finally find a studio they can make their own.

Now two children and one dog later, Jay and Nika say they are "excited to open the doors to Hotpod Yoga Kingston".

Their aim is simple: to create a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy the benefits of yoga, whether you're completely new to the practice, returning from injury, training alongside another sport or deepening an existing practice.

As part of its opening, Hotpod Yoga Kingston is offering early launch classes. However, several of these are already full.
