This year's Christmas Shopping Trail is taking place this Saturday, 30 November from 10am - 3pm.

The trail will run along Coombe Road, Park Road and Elm Road.

This is the third year the trail has been run.

Along the trail, there will be independent local shops and craft stalls with music, food, and more to keep attendees and even their dogs entertained.

The pop-up traders will offer a fantastic range of gifts, from ceramics, handmade decorations, candles, wood carvings and foodie gifts to vintage clothing, handwoven baskets, pottery and creative bags, accessories, and cards.

There will also be aprons from the Sewing Angels, a group who give 100% of their profits to three local charities, including Kingston Food Bank, RBKares and BRaG.

Moreover, music from local solo musicians, a jazz band, a Korean choir, and the Tiffin Swing Band will be playing as attendees march around the neighbourhood.

On Park Road, there'll be an outdoor pasta kitchen at L'Assagino, mince pies and mulled wine at The Pottery, as well as mulled cider at the street's newest eatery, the Park Brew & Kitchen.

Along Coombe Road, Fish! will be selling festive fish nibbles and mulled wine outside their shop.

Rozana on Kingston Hill will have a stall outside Woofs A Daisy selling delicious hot Indian food, while Japanese store Atariya will have Japanese treats for sale outside its shop.

And on Elm Road, the Wych Elm will have even more food, drinks and pop-up stalls to enjoy.

Proving that Christmas is for all the family, in addition to selling Christmas trees, Woofs A Daisy has invited Santa Paws to join in the fun again.

For £7, four-legged visitors will have the chance to enjoy their canine Christmas grotto where they'll get to have their photo taken with Father Christmas and get a goodie bag and gift.

Speaking about the trail, Jane from Woofs A Daisy said: "This is going to be the biggest Christmas market yet, with more stalls than ever before.

"The weather forecast looks good so we hope people will come along and enjoy the chance to spend time with friends and neighbours, while supporting the local businesses on their doorstep."

Sebastian from Fish! said: "We've taken part in the event over the last two years.

"Small businesses need the help of local residents, and this is a fun, festive opportunity to gather people together so they can see the wide range our businesses have to offer."

Norbiton Councillor, Susan Skipwith, said: "We're so lucky to still have thriving parades of independent shops and buzzing eateries in this part of Kingston.

"We hope that by providing a seasonal space for local crafters and musicians to join in the Christmas celebrations, the shopping trail through Norbiton and North Kingston will once again prove the perfect opportunity for the community to gather together and enjoy the festivities - all whilst supporting local businesses."
