Homes in and around the Hampton Court area are at risk of flooding, while the Kingston-Teddington area continues to see disruption along low-lying roads and footpaths.

The Environment Agency's (EA) flood alert has been escalated after being active for a week (20 February).

The River Thames water levels have reached their peak this morning according to the EA

However reports indicate that they have now stabilised and will start to fall over the coming days.

This comes after a week of flooding across towns along the Thames, with numerous sections of Kingston's footpaths being rendered unusable.

Canbury Gardens and Queen's Promenade areas have been especially affected by last week's flooding.
