A residents association in North Kingston will run a May Marrie festival on Saturday 4 May.

BRaG, which represents households living on Burton Road, Richmond Park Road and Gibbon Road, has made plans to close Burton Road from 10am to 10pm for the event.

Beginning at 2pm at St Lukes Vicarage Garden, the association says the "free local family afternoon" will feature a bar stocking local Park Brewery beers, local singer group PieLarks, Morris dancing, chalk drawing, and various party games including:

  • Giant Jenga
  • Tug of war
  • Hook a duck
  • Tin can alley, and more.

All proceeds from the event will go to the association's current charities: Kingston Food Bank, Kingston Churches Action Against Homelessness, and St Luke's Church.

Volunteers looking to help should get in touch with the group via their email, [email protected].
