A vintage bus will ferry history buffs around areas of London later this month.

The event has been organised by Habitats & Heritage bus tours on Friday, 28 July and will held fund heritage conservation work and repairs to the Grove Gardens Chapel in Richmond.

Heritage Projects Manager Stephen Fielding says: "We will be using a classic Routemaster bus to take people from the bus stand outside the Albany Pub in Twickenham, to the neo-Egyptian Kilmorey Mausoleum in St. Margaret's, the St. Leonards Court WW2 air raid shelter in East Sheen, the Burton Mausoleum in Mortlake and the Grove Gardens Chapel.

"The tour starts at 10:30am and ends around 4pm.

"Tickets for adults are £25 and U18s £5. There is an Eventbrite booking fee on all ticket purchases. All money raised will help support our heritage conservation work and repairs to the Grove Gardens Chapel."

The Eventbrite ticket booking page can be found here: Heritage Bus Tour Tickets, Fri 28 Jul 2023 at 10:30 | Eventbrite
