Booking a cleaner in Kingston has just become much easier thanks to two local residents who have launched a new service designed to take the hassle out of household chores.
Sponge, founded by Kingston locals Dave Stratton and Andy Towers, aims to make arranging everyday cleaning jobs as quick and simple as ordering a takeaway.

The business connects residents with trusted local professionals offering window cleaning, gutter clearing and mobile car washing and valeting, all bookable online in less than a minute.
Rather than phoning around for quotes or waiting weeks for an appointment, customers simply enter their postcode on the Sponge website, receive an instant price and choose a time that suits them.

Each cleaner is vetted, insured and works within a dedicated local area, giving customers consistency and reliability.
Co-founder, Dave Stratton said: "It has become second nature to order food or a taxi with just a few taps.
"We thought, 'why shouldn't cleaning be that easy too?' Sponge was created to give people back their time while making sure they get a trusted, high-quality service every time."
The service is now available across Kingston and South West London, with plans to expand further across the capital in the coming months. A bin cleaning service is also on the way to tackle one of the least-loved household tasks.
To celebrate the launch, Nub News readers can get £5 off their first clean by using the discount code KINGSTONNUB5 when booking online.

With its bold pink branding, glowing customer reviews and simple booking process, Sponge is already becoming a familiar name in the area and looks set to make a big impact on Kingston's cleaning scene.
Residents can find out more or book a clean via Sponge's website here.
