Road closed after collision on Kingston Hill

Three bus services are being diverted after a collision on Kingston Hill.

It happened in the afternoon of Easter Sunday (April 4).

The Kingston Gate entrance to Richmond Park has been closed as a result.

The AA traffic alert service said: "Road closed and queueing traffic due to accident on A308 Kingston Hill both ways from the roundabout by the Shell petrol station to B351 Queens Road.

"Detour in operation - affecting bus routes 57, 85, 213.

"The road is shut near the hospital."

The Royal Parks charity said: "Please note that Kingston Gate has been closed due to a car accident outside the gates creating heavy traffic congestion.

"The disabled toilets in Isabella Plantation have also been closed due to a separate incident.

"Thank you for your understanding."
