Trainee Metal Welder

Hours: 7.00am-3.30pm

Monday to Friday

Our client is looking to hire a trainee welder to join their expanding workshop team.

You'll be getting full training in a trade that has good long-term prospects.

We are looking for someone keen to learn, enjoys practical work, and wants to build a career in welding and metal fabrication.

You don't need any previous welding experience - if you've got the right attitude, they are very happy to teach you everything you need to know.

It's a perfect opportunity to learn a valuable trade from their Head Welder, who joined as a trainee some years ago and worked his way up.

What you'll be doing

• Learning different welding techniques from experienced team members.
• Helping prepare metal parts ready for welding.
• Using workshop tools and equipment safely.
• Assisting with making and assembling metal products.
• Keeping your work area clean and tidy.
• Following health and safety procedures.
• Developing your skills every day as part of a friendly team.

We're looking for someone who is

• Eager to learn and willing to work hard.

• Practical and enjoys working with their hands.
• Happy working as part of a team.
• Positive, motivated, and keen to build a long-term career.

No experience? No problem! You'll be provided with full training and support.
